2009 MOST OFTEN ASKED QUESTIONS

EDITOR'S NOTE:
Here are questions many of you have asked. If you have a question, please send it to us and we will answer it.

Q-Why are Carmine and Louie living in two cages?

A-The answer is Carmine and Louie had a scuffle, which resulted in Carmine’s ear being torn (see photo left). Our veterinarian’s advice was to separate Carmine and Louie, and so they now live in two separate cages. They are happy and love each other.

Q-What happened to Louie’s name over his house?

A-Louie pulled his name off his house and ate it .

Q-Do you have plans to replace his (Louie’s) name on his house?

A-Yes.

Q-Do you think he (Louie) will pull his name off his house and eat it again?
A-Yes.

Q-Did Louie eat his name because he is hungry?

A-No, Louie eats his name because he can reach it.

Q-How old are Carmine and Louie?
A-Louie and Carmine were born on January 27, 2007. They are just about three years old.

Q-Do they celebrate their birthday?

A-Yes, and we are having a big birthday bash for them with cake, presents and games. You should come!

All-ages Family Show 7 p.m.-8 p.m.
GET YOUR TICKETS NOW!

and now a word from the Storyteller,
Jonathan Kruk ...
"I am the storyteller for the programs at Franklin Lakes. Teens will be treated or rather tricked by mysteriously haunted tales. They'll discover why a wailing ghost moans over the Hudson River. They'll encounter the vanishing Hitch-hiker, and then she'll make them jump! Younger children will indeed be treated to spooky but not too scary stories. There's the rollicking tale of "Rolly Head." They'll find out why some witches knot their noses, and learn the secret of the witch who puts happy into Halloween. If you scare easily note, there is always the old lady who was not afraid of anything. It's lively, dramatic Story Theater!"

TIME TO SIGN UP!!!!

Summer Reading Club is in full swing, come on down and see us and join the Club. There is so much going on, we don't know where to start! BTW, Louie and I just read the greatest new book called Adventure According to Humphrey by Betty G. Birney. We loved it! It's a story about a Humphrey (the class hamster) who has always wanted to go sailing, and he finally does-but OH WHAT AN ADVENTURE! LOL! Humphrey is a series so if you like this one, there are 4 more.

SHIRA PLOTZKER PET PSYCHIC AT FRANKLIN LAKES MAY 18, 2009

Shira Plotzker, Pet Communicator and Pet Psychic looked at a photo of me and said "Carmine, Carmine-you're a gentle, giant among guinea pigs. You love the simple life-fresh hay, a scratch behind the ear, a nice apple and a good book, oh...La Dolce Vita." Shira said "Carmine is eager to see Summer Reading Club begin-so many books to read, so many things to do!"

WHAT DID SHIRA SAY ABOUT LOUIE?

And guess what Shira said about me as she gazed at my photo...." LOUIE, BIG, BOLD and BEAUTIFUL, he's ALL guinea pig! Louie loves music and reading, and he wants to see BIG BASH of a SUMMER READING CLUB KICK OFF PARTY."
